Jefferson Parish Authorities finally concluded that Kylan Laurent attacked prostitutes in three different motels in Louisiana and stole their belongings. They are trying to determine if the targeted other women also.
Kylan Laurent a 22year old Vacherie resident's car was found abandoned after a high speed-chase with the state police. While searching the car and his home, the police found identifications of Anita McDonald who was strangled at the Comfort Suites motel, Jateese Hudgins who was strangled at a La Quinta Motel, as well as a phone belonging to a lady who was choked unconscious at the Sun Suites motel.
Laurent is thought to have contacted women through web advertisements and met them in their motel rooms, bound their hands and choked them.

As the storms head towards the northeastern shores of US, the air travel is completely disrupted due to Hurricane Irene. Thousands of flights have been canceled over the weekend. Korean Air changed schedules of its routes, also pre cancelled flights to and from New York and delayed Washington bound air travel by three hours.
The air travel got affected to such an extent that nearly two dozen airports in eastern U.S. cities close down including Newark Liberty International Airport, John F. Kennedy International Airport and LaGuardia Airport in New York.
A major irregularity in air travel has been observed in the entire US. Approximately 2,300 domestic and international flights of United Airlines and Continental Airlines were suspended over the last weekend departing from 13 airports in New England including their New York City hubs. The US based airlines hence said they would hope to resume regular air travel from Monday

As per the reports of South Asian News Agency, Sri Lanka's Rank Holdings, a group of companies with various business interests in Hospitality and entertainment sector has collaborated with an Indian Company to build a Hotel complex in Colombo worth US $200 at D.R. Wijewardene Mawatha.
According to the Rank Holdings Chairman Ravi Wijeratne it has declared that it would build a 5-star hotel and 171 apartments and construction of the hotel would begin by November this year.
The company has leased a 2.5 crore property on D.R Wijewardene Mawatha from Sri Lanka's Urban Development Authority to initiate the project of building a Hotel.
The finances for the Hotel would come from foreign banks, Rank Holdings and the Indian Investor as stated by Wijeratne.
