You're always assured of a very warm welcome whenever you stay at Eden House B&B - we're open from Easter to October.

This is what some of our guests said about their stay - testimonials

"We arrived at 5pm on Friday - Violet and Ken greeted us with tea and cake (many choices of tea, and lovely chocolate cake), which was fantastic after our long journey from South Bucks. Ken showed us to our room, set outside of the main house, just across the drive, in a block of four. Lovely, clean room, all the features I would expect, well decorated and maintained to a high standard. The room had a little porch as well which was nice to sit out on and look at the view.
Breakfast the next morning was brilliant - a great start to the day, with Violet's cooking being superb. I got the impression that nothing was too much trouble. This is a wonderful place to stay, very, very comfortable and clean. I would recommend it to anyone looking to get away from it all for a couple of days."     - Sarah, Buckinghamshire, UK

"We stayed at Eden house in early September. We arrived late on a Friday evening in pouring rain to be greeted by muffins and a lovely pot of hot tea! The breakfasts were superb and on our last morning we had to leave early to get to Heathrow for a flight to Prague.  Ken was up early to give us our breakfast, we certainly enjoyed our stay, as we have family in the area.  When we next visit we will definitely stay at Eden House again."      - Perthwa, Australia

"This
B & B near Cardigan is set in the most beautiful surroundings and in 14 acres of its own land is appropriately named 'Eden' House.  It is a little piece of heaven with a beautiful, peaceful atmosphere, great hospitality and the best selection of food for breakfast I have ever come across in any B & B. It warrants even more than its 4 star rating.  I would highly recommend Eden House."    - metasurfer, London

West Wales is known as Wales' best kept secret!

Did you know the bluestones of Stonehenge' s monoliths came from the Preseli Mountains? It's been confirmed that the Bluestones which form the inner circle of Stonehenge were transported to Salisbury Plain from a site in the Preseli Hills some 240km or 150 miles away. Quite a feat without any of our modern equipment!

From the bones and other evidence found during a rare dig in 2008 at Stonehenge, it's been suggested that ancient people believed the stones had great healing properties. Professors Darvill and Wainwright found evidence suggesting Stonehenge was actually a centre of healing. This purpose joins the other ideas that the monument was a shrine for worshiping the ancestors or a calendar with which to mark the solstices.  From the dig, pieces of the stones were sent to Oxford University for carbon dating and 2300BC (300 years earlier than previously thought) is the most reliable date yet for the erection of the first bluestones.

You'll find Eden House bed and breakfast nestled between the villages of Boncath and Eglwyswrw, and two miles northwest of Blaenffos. It is approx. five miles south of Cardigan. This makes Eden House perfectly situated as your base for exploring Pembrokeshire, perhaps starting with Britain's smallest city - St. David's with its wonderful cathedral, going to Haverfordwest with its shops and regular famers' market, and from there, the rest of West Wales awaits.

Attractions within easy reach include Bromeigan Gardens and Tearoom (just on our doorstep), historic Cardigan town and its Castle, St. Dogmaels Abbey & Coach House, Felinwynt Butterfly Farm, Picton Castle, Castell Henllys and Cilgerran Castle and Gorge nature reserve, amongst many, many others.

Eden House Bed and Breakfast is primarily for adults (the minimum age for guests is 16).

The area provides many facilities for golf, horseback riding, canoeing, boating and fishing. It is also the ideal base for a walking and cycling holiday.

If you're interested in fine art and craft of all sorts, there are many artists and crafts people living and working in the area who you can visit.
