Blaze In Shed Burns Down Motel

Blaze In Shed Burns Down Motel

The fire alarm went off at the Super 8 motel on Highland Avenue giving rise to anxiety and concern, but thankfully, no one panicked.
Early morning, just before 5:00 am, a shed close to the motel caught fire, which quickly spread on to the motel main building. At that time, 64 of the total 79 rooms at the motel were occupied. However, motel authorities informed that inspite of the big numbers no one was injured. Firefighters stated that the roof of the motel first caught fire, thus spreading the blaze, but no exact reasons could be pin-pointed out as for the cause of the fire at the motel. The customers said motel staff informed them to evacuate soon after the fire. They had been shifted to Motel 6, a venture of the same company.
